The
Board of Allen County Commissioners appointed Becky Saine
as County Administrator in June, 2003. Prior to serving as
Allen County Administrator, she acquired eleven years of experience
with the Allen County Auditor’s office and the Auditor
of the State of Ohio. She has been a lifetime resident of
Allen County, growing up in the City of Lima. She graduated
from Lima Senior High School, and holds an associate degree
in accounting from Rhodes State College.
The
County Administrator’s responsibilities include: assisting
in the administration, enforcement, and execution of the policies
and resolutions of the Board of Commissioners; recommending
measures for adoption to the Board; and keeping the Board
of Commissioners fully advised on the financial conditions
of the County, and preparing and submitting a budget each
fiscal year. Ms. Saine also serves as Assistant Clerk of the
Board, Director of Economic Development, and is authorized
to perform certain administrative functions in a disaster
or emergency situation.
Ms.
Saine is a member of the following boards and committees:
Allen County Data Board, Allen County Severe Weather Committee,
Lima/Allen County Joint Parking Commission, Allen County Development
Corporation, Lima/Allen Council on Community Affairs, and
serves as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the County
Employees Benefit Consortium of Ohio.
