Rhonda D. Eddy took office
on March 13, 2008 as the Allen County Auditor. With over 18
years of experience in accounting, financial, and computers,
the transition into the office will go smoothly. From 1999-2008,
Ms. Eddy served as the Allen County Treasurer.
During her time as Treasurer, she changed the image of the office.
It was taken to a new level in which proactive ideas were implemented
to make it a positive, taxpayer friendly environment. She kept the
public informed, and brought in the necessary technology to meet the needs of the taxpayers.
Ms. Eddy is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting. Prior to
working for Allen County, she was an accountant at Marathon Oil
Company, Arbor Health Care, and Superior Federal Credit Union.
Ms. Eddy and her husband have three children and reside in Shawnee.
Ms. Eddy is involved with many boards and outside activities. Per the
Ohio Revised Code, the County Auditor is required to be the secretary
of the Data Processing Board, Budget Commission Board, Board of Revision,
and Records Commission. In addition to the required boards, Ms. Eddy
is a member of the County Health & Insurance Board, county wellness
committee, and the Lima Allen County land bank committee. She is a
member of the Lima Exchange Club, FOPA, and Lima & Allen County Medical
Alliance. She is also the Vice President of St. Charles Catholic School
PTO, and actively involved with Shawnee Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
She was the Past- President of the Boulevard Neighborhood Association and
Past-Advisory member for The Ohio State University Personal Financial
Management Bachelor degree. She is on the executive committee, screening
committee, and fundraising committee for the Allen County Republican party
and the Treasurer for the Allen County Federated Republican Women.
